Our Story.
Ruang Studios is a Cambodian creative media company passionate about telling stories that inspire, educate, and create lasting social impact. Based in Phnom Penh, we partner with NGOs, businesses, schools, and organizations to produce compelling films, photography, music, animation, and digital media that connect with audiences both in Cambodia and around the world.
Founded by Josh Blanchard after more than 13 years serving in Asia (including the last 10 years in Cambodia) Ruang Studios was born from a simple conviction: great stories have the power to change lives. What began as a vision to use creativity in the fight against injustice has grown into a thriving studio led by a talented team of Cambodian creatives dedicated to excellence in every project.

Beyond client work, we develop our own films, music, educational resources, and family entertainment that address important social issues, strengthen communities, and inspire hope.
